What is an adverse trading environment?

i am currently doing a SWOT analysis for Britvic plc in my Business Coursework. However i have found that Britvic has an "adverse trading environment in Ireland". I know this is a threat but i do not know why.

1. This would be anything that does not allow Britvic to export lots of products to Ireland. For example, are there higher tarrifs on certain categories of exports to Ireland? Is ireland subsidizing the local manufacturers of the same type of products that britvic supplies? Are there other trading barriers? Is the process to "clear" customs in Ireland tedious? these are some of the tings that would not be too good from Britvic's point of view.
