Why won't Obama, if elected, attend the Nov 15 international financial crisis in Europe?

Isn't that a slap in the face to our allies with whom our country needs to coordinate? How will Obama lead us out of this disaster, if elected, if he won't get up to speed and work in transition on this top priority problem even he has said is the number one election issue? Does this mean he'll sit down and talk with despots and anti-American leaders but not with our European and other global economic partners? That doesn't sound very good for America.
